Waterslide & Beach Area. The Chesnut Bay beach area offers everything you need for a great day on Weiss Lake. A feature of the beach area includes a 120 foot water slide that is guaranteed to thrill children and adults.
Note: The water slide is open daily during peak High Season summer months. The water slide will be closed if the lake's water level falls below two feet of full pool. This is for the safety of our guests.
Lake Access Boat Ramp & Community Docks. Chesnut Bay offers guests a private access ramp to Weiss Lake. Weiss Lake is a 30,200+ acre hydro-electric impoundment of the Coosa, Chattooga, and Little Rivers. It offers 447 miles of shoreline with shallow flats; under-water drop-offs; deep channels and large coves.
Chesnut Bay features private boat ramp access to Weiss Lake. Community docks include multiple tie off areas as well as stainless steel fish cleaning facilities. Lake front rental homes also include private docks.
Complementary Paddle Boats & Kayaks. Chesnut Bay offers complementary paddle boats and kayaks for its guests.
Note: Alabama law requires life vests for paddle boats and kayaks. Vests can be rented through Weiss Water Sports.
Jet Ski & Pontoon Boat Rentals. Cool down and have some fun with a Jet Ski or pontoon boat rental. This is a great way to beat the heat and experience Weiss Lake.Rentals include:
