Fun in the sun at CBR

2011Family Fall Break is upon us and Chesnut Bay has NEWS for you.  Beginning Sept 15, we will heat the Villas Overlook Pool and beautiful beach will continue be “Open for Business”…  and by Business we mean FUN!! 

This year we will have the pedal boats and kayaks in the water also beginning until Oct 31 or lake temperature falls below 55 degrees, whichever comes first.  Bring your life jackets or rent one at the CBR office.  This will be our best Family Fall Break EVER, so forget the 6-8 hour trek to the Gulf Coast, avoid the huge crowds, long lines, and traffic….save the gas, and come on down to Chesnut Bay Resort where the family fun begins Sept 15.

NOTE:  Effective Sept 15th, the Mushroom Pool and the 120ft Waterlide on the lake are closed the remainder of the year and will reopen in May 2012

Our First Fireworks display will be on Tuesday July 3rd and our festivities will begin on July 1st. (As of 07/10/11 we only have 3 houses left available for this time period and the RV sites are filling up quickly)

Our Second Fireworks display will be on Saturday July 7th and the festivities for that weekend will begin the afternoon of July 5th.

There will be a great mix of old fashioned family fun, live music, good food, and an evening  fireworks displays.   For our FIRST Celebration, Tuesday July 3rd will be the day for our Indpendence Day Extravaganza. We will have Balloon Twisting and Face Painting;  live music; and a HUGE Fireworks display.

For our SECOND Celebration, Saturday July 7th will be the day for our 4th of July Extravaganza.  and like our first one, we will have  Balloon Twisting and Face Painting;  live music; and a HUGE Fireworks display.

Chesnut Bay is the most fun Halloween we ever had !

This Halloween, why worry about all the concerns we all have as parents and grandparents around Halloween.  No need this year to pack the kids in the car and take them from house to house or subdivision to subdivision just to come home with a bagful of candy.

Chesnut Bay Resort is proud to announce it’s Second Annual Safe and Secure Halloween Festival Weekend.  Come join us for our Halloween fun which will include Best costume contest, old time Halloween fun like  trick or treating,  pumpkin carving contest, and more.   After Trick or Treating there will be a double feature of Halloween movies shown out under stars near the lake.  First will be nothing over PG for our little ones and then a little later something a little more frightful for the older kids and kids at heart…but still not over PG-13

Have you heard about our Magical Pumpkin Patch?  The kids will be amazed as they plant pumpkin seeds Friday afternoon and overnight something magical happens…only at Chesnut Bay. 

Parents, be sure to bring your costumes too… everyone is welcome to join in the fun at Chesnut Bay!

Don’t wait too long, book early.  Last year was our first Halloween weekend and all but 4 homes were booked for the fun.  This year we anticipate that we will be fully reserved before the end of Septemeber…so book NOW and make sure you and your kids don’t miss out on all the FUN. !!
